Many of the lights in the Cottages are fitted with electronic light dimmers.
These can be programmed by turning the lights on and off.
The functions are as follows
1) Soft-start - switch on and the
lights will slowly go to full brightness
(much more
pleasant to the eyes, and reduces the stress and increase the life of the lamp
filaments)
2) Dimmer - switch ON, wait until
the lights have reached the desired brightness
then switch
OFF and immediately ON again - the lights will remain at the
desired level
of brightness
3) Security - switch ON 3 times,
the lights will illuminate for one minute at half brightness
then the
lights will go off. Thereafter the lights will go ON and OFF at full
brightness
with random
time intervals in between and will run for approximately 12 hours in any 24.
4) Delayed OFF - Switch on, wait
till the desired light level is reached, switch ON 3 times.
The lights
will stay at the desired level for approximately 15 minutes, after this they
will dim
slowly to the OFF state.
5) Flash - Switch ON 5 times, the lights will go on and off slowly until they are switched OFF.
In addition the light dimmer can hold your chosen function in memory
so that it can be repeated
continually without having to re-enter the function. First select the
function you require, then switch
OFF and immediately ON. The lights will turn off and the function is
memorised. To activate the
memorised function, switch OFF and immediately ON.

For smaller groups, the price is "per Cottage per night", for larger groups, the
price is "per Guest per night". 7 nights for the price of 6.
Prices vary by seasonal demand, so January, February, November, December are
half price, August and New Year are higher.
Conifer Cottage and Cherry Tree Cottage are only 400 metres apart, so they can be combined to accommodate up to 32 Guests.
